The Eagle Nebula is a large, bright emission nebula, birthplace of thousands of stars, and home to these light-years-tall columns of gas. This image is a unique blend of images shot in 3 different wavelengths, as the false color allows me to bring more contrast and detail to the image. This area is uniformly red in true color photos.

The size indicated is the printed area, the print will also include a 1/2" white border for handling and framing.
