"Residents of Orion's Belt" Features the crowded and comprehensive structures surrounding the leftmost star of Orion's Belt "Alnitak," a bright blue star in the upper left quadrant of the image. The surrounding hydrogen gas is ionized by stellar energy and glows fluorescent, while the forces from the radiation pressure sculpt massive structures from the gas and dust. Concentrations of matter coalesce into hot young stars and protoplanetary discs, future solar systems in the area. Captured using a 61-megapixel camera attached to a 12" telescope, this is my deepest and most detailed shot of the region to date.
The sizes indicated is the "leaf" size, the unframed print includes a small white border for handling and framing, and the framed print will be slightly larger due to the thickness of the frame and include a small matting.
