Captured using 3 telescopes, this composite image of the sun's chromosphere features a special guest: the international space station. A hydrogen-alpha telescope was used to capture the sun's chromosphere in detail, and then two telescopes with full aperture solar filters captured the transit of the ISS against the solar photosphere. The resulting images were combined and processed to show you the scale of the sun against the space station, which is of course MUCH closer to Earth.
The size indicated is the "leaf size", which will include a 1/2" white border for handling and framing. Printed area on both framed and unframed prints is 1" smaller than listed size for this reason.
