This image was captured during a rare event on February 18th, 2020, as Mars reappeared behind the shadowed Eastern Limb of the moon after a brief occult. This HDR composite image is the result of thousands of images captured between two telescopes to capture the full dynamic range of the scene in incredible detail.

The size indicated is the "leaf size", which will include a 1/2" white border for handling and framing.
