"The Heart of the Hunter" by Andrew McCarthy
Printed on Metal or Archival Rag paper
LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE!
The Orion Nebula is the most-imaged deep space objects by amateurs. For that reason, it is a challenge to make it look unique. To take on that challenge, I focused on exposing for the faint outer dust, and removed the stars, so the Nebula is seen in a more raw state. This HDR final image shows off the treasure within the heart of Orion. This final image is a product of hours of exposures at different settings to cover the dynamic range of the object.
For paper prints, the size indicated is the "leaf size", which will include a 1" white border for handling and framing. The frame is a molded wood with acrylic cover, including a simple white matting.
Metal prints are fabricated using a proprietary printing process that boasts a non-reflective surface that allows for the deepest display of color and contrast available for print. The image is printed right to the edge of the material.
