"Stellar Horizon" by Andrew McCarthy
Printed on Metal or Archival Rag paper
A view of our sun's horizon in Hydrogen-Alpha light. In this scene, prominences dance on the stellar horizon, while an active region churns on the surface. This photo was taken through a specially modified telescope, to see details in the solar atmopshere.
For paper prints, the size indicated is the "leaf size", which will include a 1" white border for handling and framing. The frame is a molded wood with acrylic cover, including a simple white matting.
Metal prints are fabricated using a proprietary printing process that boasts a non-reflective surface that allows for the deepest display of color and contrast available for print. The image is printed right to the edge of the material.
