"An Evening in the Shadows" by Andrew McCarthy
Printed on Metal or Archival Rag paper
LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE!
A partial lunar eclipse happens when the Moon grazes the darkest potion of Earth's shadow, known as the "Umbra". Each HDR image in this composite was created using multiple exposures, to reveal the rose colored shadow without obscuring the side still lit by the sun, and then combined together to create this composite representing the longest lunar eclipe of the century.
For paper prints, the size indicated is the "leaf size", which will include a 1" white border for handling and framing. The frame is a molded wood with acrylic cover, including a simple white matting.
Metal prints are fabricated using a proprietary printing process that boasts a non-reflective surface that allows for the deepest display of color and contrast available for print. The image is printed right to the edge of the material.
